Have a reactive dog? finally, real help that works!
Dog Stuff with Paige is all about training Owners to transform their dog with our proven balanced training program. Training that really works, even when everything else hasn't so you can start living life the way you've always wanted with your dog.

Dog Stuff with Paige is here to help you with your reactive dog no matter the breed, age, or type of reactivity you are struggling with. Train with a modern, relationship based approach that helps you understand your dog and provide the necessary inputs to get the dog of your dreams.

With over seven years of hands-on experience in the reactive dog training world, and 3 years in competitive dog sports competing with my own dog, I have developed my skills and never stopped learning about what works when training dogs in all areas.
However, I noticed early on that SO MANY trainers were struggling to treat reactivity correctly, struggling to get lasting results for their clients and their dogs. I started getting reactive dogs who had seen 1-4 trainers prior and had been working on treating reactivity for years and yet, they were STILL trying to get results - so I made it my mission to learn more, hone in on my skills and be the best reactive dog trainer around. Now, I work primarily with reactive dogs and their owners, in my specialised reactivity program. We stop the unwanted behaviours and create lasting change so that everyone can start enjoying their lives again. I CAN help you get that dream life you've always wanted for your dog.

Whether you're navigating aggressive behaviour, a highly anxious dog, reactivity towards people and/or dogs, have a real dog aggressive dog or are experiencing severe reactive outbursts on leash — I've seen it all before and I’m here to help.

Meet Makenzie & Vada

“Before we started training, Vada was highly reactive to almost anything that moved—dogs, runners, bikes, even cars. Public outings were stressful and unpredictable, and often ended in tears. With Paige’s calm and thoughtful guidance, I’ve been able to truly understand Vada’s behaviours and reactions. She has shown incredible understanding and support, both for Vada and for me. As a result, Vada is now calm and confident in public, enjoys socialising with both people and dogs, and is experiencing opportunities I never would have imagined were possible for her - includuing off leash freedom!
She has not only transformed Vada’s life, but mine as well. I now have the relaxed, confident, and content dog I always dreamed of. I could not recommend her more highly.

Want a free reactive dog handbook to get started?

I created this guide to help owners as soon as they get to my page, so jump in, start reading and get cracking on your training journey.

No one expects their dog to become a  reactive dog

I know just how hard it is to say no to social outings with your dog
To have to take your dog out at odd times to avoid others
Have your head on a swivel and change directions or hide behind cars immediately if you see another dog or person
Trying everything you can to no avail
The treats stop working as soon as your dog sees the trigger

Wondering if this will ever get better

The vet suggested meds, someone else suggested rehoming, others say shovel food in their mouth, the old bloke down the street says you need to be firmer or put them down- you are now questioning if your dog is the right fit for you. Can you do this?

I work with people in your exact position every day. Take a look at some reviews below

Meet Annie & Heather

Meet Tigger & Di

"Paige has completely turned my dog around!Annie used to be extremely reactive until I was able to do training sessions using Paige's services!Annie can now happily walk past other dogs now without turning into a monster, its been the best thing I've ever done not only for my sanity, but to make Annie feel more comfortable.I now use Paige's walking services when I am away and more recently when I had a baby. I wouldn't trust anyone else besides Paige!"
-Heather and Annie
Paige has changed our lives, she helped not only our dog but us so much, we used to hate taking our dog out as he was so reactive, but now taking him with us is a breeze! Tigger was reactive to people and dogs and we thought we were going to be bound to a life of restriction and midnight walks. We are so grateful we found Paige and started training our boy, he's such a different dog now who actually listens to us and walks nicely on leash. He doesn't care about dogs anymore and has made lots of new people friends! Couldn't recommend Dog Stuff with Paige more if I tried!

Meet Zeus and Thai

“Paige is easy going, open, bubbly and friendly. I felt comfortable with her immediately. She was also non judgemental and easy to talk to about the issues we were having with Zeus (severe dog reactivity, no focus when outside of the house, selective hearing, no recall, extremely hard to handle around other dogs).
She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and dog behaviour and knew exactly how to work with Zeus after just one session with him.
She has since changed our lives with Zeus, Zeus now enjoys off leash freedom at the river, the beach, and footy training, he's reliable even when there are other off leash dogs around. We take Zeus everywhere now, something we stopped doing when he was reactive"

Meet June and Millie

Paige has been absolutely amazing and such a vital part of our training journey. She’s done an incredible job at teaching us how to train our rescue GSD, June.
June was previously extremely dog reactive, had no leash or obedience skills and was generally feral! Paige has turned us around - we are able to enjoy going out around dogs, have beautiful loose leash walking & off lead recall EVEN around other dogs - something I thought we’d never achieve.
Paige really took the time to explain why a certain behavior would happen, how to avoid it escalating and how to work through it in real life scenarios. Which means I understand June a lot more now, and we have grown and bonded together, making training sessions even more fun and productive.
I honestly cannot recommend Paige enough. Her kind, understanding personality and her approach and passion for dog training make her a dream to work with. She’s Junes favourite person, with good reason!!

General FAQ's

My dog has a bit history, can they be trained?

yes, we work with and have worked with lots of dogs who have bite histories, including dogs who have bitten their owner or attacked another dog in the home. However, please disclose everything and be as honest as possible so we can determine if we are the right fit for you. We take on bite history dogs all the time, however we need to make sure that the type of support you need, we can provide. Some dogs may need a board and train vs private lessons in some cases.

When can we start?

I generally have a couple week waitlist to start training, so reach out asap and start our onboarding process to start sooner rather then later!

What if my dog is really bad, or I am kind of scared of my own dog at times?

I see dogs who start off barking, lunging, redirecting, thrashing on the leash at triggers over 40m away and they leave being able to walk past triggers with a loose leash, trust me I have seen it before!
I work with you to develop your skills, confidence and knowledge to train your dog. We rebuild your relationship with your dog and I teach you how to get through hard situations together.

My dog is a rescue, older dog, powerful or dangerous breed, does this matter?

The short answer is no. We have worked with dogs that have all types of pasts, up bringing's, dogs who have worked with other trainers and all different breeds before.
What matters most is if you are a committed owner.

What type of training methods do you use?

We are balanced trainers here at Dog Stuff. This means we use all four quadrants in training.
We use a practical mixture of motivation, consequences, guidance, fair communication, structure, play and proper follow through that your dog actually understands.
We use a positive first based approach, however every dog is different so we look at each dog as an individual and choose tools and techniques that we tailor to your dogs behaviour and your goals. We will always explain why and how for everything we do, making sure you are clear and confident on when and how to use any tools we introduce.

How frequently do we book in sessions?

Generally we do weekly or fortnightly sessions. In some programs we will want to schedule these as close together as possible but generally, each week or each fortnight
