What type of training do you provide?
I am a relationship based balanced trainer, this means that I use all four quadrants of training to help your dog. I look at dogs at an individual level and use what works with each dog, dogs are as individual as people so a tailored approach is needed for each one. I use rewards, consequences, management and structure in my training plan but also look at your dogs outlets, diet, health and general routines to look at your dog as a whole.
What does it cost?
Because training dogs is such an individualised process, we have a few different options depending on your needs and where your dog is at. During our phone consult or your enquiry, once we have enough information we will provide you with the best approach and plan for you and outline the cost clearly
Do you do home visits?
Yes! I do house visits. If you purchase a program, I come to your home generally for our first session!
How long does training take?
This will depend entirely on your commitment, how well you complete your homework and the severity of your dogs behaviours and needs. Just like seeing results from the gym and working with a personal trainer only happens when the client puts in the work between sessions, no dog training from any dog trainer is guaranteed unless you are putting in work with your dog.
Do you work with reactive or aggressive dogs?
Yes, this is my primary type of client. I have been helping reactive and aggressive dogs for over 6 years.
